I tutor English Language and Literature (KS3, GCSE and beyond), as well as creative writing, handwriting and communication skills. I also support students learning English as an additional language, helping them build confidence in reading, writing, speaking and understanding for exams, study, work and everyday life. In addition, I prepare learners for entrance exams and interviews.
Yes, I offer both. One-to-one sessions allow for personalised support, while small group sessions (2–7 students) encourage peer learning in a focused setting.
I work with Year 5 pupils, teenagers, young people and adults, tailoring each session to the learner’s needs, confidence level and goals.
Yes. I have a strong track record of supporting international and non-native English speakers to develop their reading, writing, speaking and overall understanding of English, both for exams and everyday communication. One example is a South Korean student who gained fluency and passed their English exams. Their feedback can be found on my Testimonials page.
Sessions are available online (Zoom/Teams) or in person, depending on location. Home or community-based lessons can also be arranged in advance.
Most sessions are 60 minutes. For younger students or handwriting support, shorter sessions (around 45 minutes) are also available.
I start with an informal consultation to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges and goals. Sessions are then planned around their individual needs, with regular feedback and progress updates.
